Module Overview

This module provides an overview of scientific methods and of the various tools and techniques required to conduct good scientific research. Beginning with guidelines for asking the right question as the foundation of a firm hypothesis, the module delves into the basics of designing a study to address the research question. This module also discusses appropriate techniques for generating and securing a dataset and its interpretation using analysis tools to gain meaningful insights. Guidance is provided on how to collaborate with experts and secure funding for research activities. It also provides guidance on sharing data across the research community to various stakeholders though presentations and publications.

The module addresses the needs of early career researchers and clinicians seeking to understand the fundamental principles of scientific research.
