Bio

I came to the National Institutes of Health in 2008 as a staff scientist at the Biological Imaging Facility at National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease. In 2012, I became a AAAS Science and Technology Policy fellow at the NIH Center for Regenerative Medicine, where I worked to support the dissemination and advancement of stem cell and gene editing technologies. I continued my AAAS fellowship at NCI in the Division of Cancer Biology where I coordinated the NIH Citizen Science Working Group and promoted community-based participatory research and crowdsourcing initiatives. I joined the National Eye Institute in 2014 to coordinate the Audacious Goals Initiative.
