Practical advice on preparing your presentation for the ARVO Annual Meeting

1) Paper presentation: Concentrate on one or two results, do an avant-premier before your colleagues, practice pronunciation if English is not your mother tongue, be sure your presentation can be done in the allowed time, be prepared for questions; suitable answers will make a good impact in the attendees.

2) Poster presentation: Keep in mind your poster is not an article; it is not necessary to have a long text; however an article should emerge from the results very soon; do not forget to put your e-mail address on the poster and also you should highlight a place where visiting scientists can leave their e-mail addresses.
