The mission of the Symposium aims to highlight new discoveries, technological advances and therapeutic possibilities in the fields of vascular biology and ophthalmology. Two major themes will be covered: 1- Retinal angiogenesis in health and disease and 2- Topics in age-related macular degeneration. By promoting cross-disciplinary interactions between local and international experts, the meeting will enhance vascular biology research and applications to clinical ophthalmology.
