Bio

I am currently a PhD student at the University of Sydney studying the growth factor signaling pathways underlying cataractogenesis. Specifically, I am interested in how different molecules can modulate TGFβ-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition in lens epithelial cells. I am also trained as an optometrist and currently still practice and see patients one day a week.

In my spare time, I enjoy blogging, in particular, food blogging. I take photographs and write about the best places to dine in Sydney. Follow my gastronomic journey on Instagram @droolworthyworld and read my blog at https://medium.com/droolworthyworld
