I work as a postdoctoral research fellow among a fantastic team of people, headed by Prof. Joseph Carroll. Our lab specializes in retinal imaging using adaptive optics scanning light ophthalmoscopy; investigating the effects of various pathologies on photoreceptor integrity, as well as on visual function. My scientific interests revolve around the cone dysfunction syndromes and color vision, although having taken a winding road to arrive where I am now (via a BSc in Psychology and a PhD focusing on scattered light and glare, under the guidance of Prof. John Barbur), my interests are often piqued by topics outside my current field.
