Nalin Mehta is a Retina specialist practicing in the Denver area for the past 20 years. When he’s not hard at work peeling membranes, he’s at home peeling vegetables for dinner with his wife (his recent prize acquisition was a shiny, black vintage KitchenAid® all-metal mixer), or planning the next menu for their gourmet club (which once recreated the 13-course last supper served on the Titanic). Organizing quarterly Retinal Journal Club provides the constant challenge of finding new and innovative dining experiences as well. His wife often disapproves of his being too critical of his meals when dining out; she wholeheartedly supports his blogging for ARVO as an alternative.
Dr. Mehta’s community involvement has included serving as Chairman of the Colorado Commission for Individuals who are Blind or Visually Impaired (CCVBI). He also performs with The Colorado Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
