Cesar is the scientific program administrator and training coordinator at the National Eye Institute (NEI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), working with scientific trainees (from high school students to postdoctoral fellows) to improve their scientific training and career development. He also serve as a resource to NEI investigators, helping them recruit trainees as well as helping them to navigate NIH policy.
Additionally, Cesar is interested in increasing the representation of minorities, women, and the disabled in science as well as other science education issues.
